Ashton-Under-Lyne
Ashton-Under-Lyne is the birthplace two FIFA World Cup winners. One of them is the legendary Sir Geoff Hurst, scorer of a hat-trick in the World Cup Final in 1966 for the Three Lions. Weirdly, it's also the birthplace of Simone Perrotta, the central midfielder who won the World Cup with Italy in 2006. He grew up there before moving to Italy at the age of 5.
